Oil Leak Ends After 85 Days

The Gulf Oil Spill has finally come to a halt 85 days after it's rupture, and 184 million gallons after the crisis unfolded.

This is great news!

The only thing, is that the seal is still in the testing stage, with experts fearing another rupture which could be potentially even larger! But this is the first time since the rupture that zero oil is flowing freely. Hopefully, this was the final seal, and the pressure doesn't build up.

Obama called it a positive sign, but reminded America that we are "Still in the testing stage."

FDA Improve Eye Implant Procedure

"The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has approved a new eye implant procedure that could help the vision of millions. Dubbed a bionic eye, the procedure allows doctors to place an implantable miniature telescope into the eye."

"In clinical trials, 90% of the 219 subjects gained some visual acuity. The FDA warned that the procedure does come with risk. It is a large device that can lead to cell loss in the cornea. The manufacturer, VisionCare Ophthalmic Technologies, has agreed to include a detailed explanation of the risks associated with its implantation."

The-Dream Caught Cheating On Christina Milian

The-Dream, who has only been married to Christina Milian for 10 months, has been caught cheating with an unidentified woman.

The pictures are all the proof the public needs.

That's pretty sad considering they just had a baby, and she is signed to his record label. Looks like her album will never be released.

Christina also took to her twitter to say "WHATEVER YOU THINK.. BELIEVE IT"

Damn, I didn't see this coming from The-Dream. It also looks like a major downgrade too.

Update: It seems that the woman in the picture is The-Dream's assistant, Melissa Santiago. He also stated to US Magazine through his representation that:

"Terius 'The-Dream' Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward."

Lindsay Lohan Going To Jail

On Tuesday, July 6th Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail, as well as 90 days in rehab!

This comes as little surprise considering her alcohol monitoring bracelet went off at the MTV Movie Awards, as well as her excuses, and inability to show up to her alcohol education classes.

Sucks for her, but maybe it will help her out and she can get her career back. It's worked for other stars.

Nasty Solar Storms Ahead

A major solar storm could cause twenty times more economic damage than Hurricane Katrina, warned the National Academy of Sciences in a 2008 report, "Severe Space Weather Events—Societal and Economic Impacts."

But luckily, because we are aware of the storm, much of the effects can be mitigated. Crazy stuff though! It seems more and more terrible things keep happening to earth almost every 3 months, when will it stop!

Six Bodies Found In Cancun!

Police discovered six bodies on Sunday in a cave in Cancun, Mexico; with three of them cut open with their hearts removed!

According to the Associated Press, "They were apparently tortured and their chests were opened to remove the hearts," Alor's office said later in a statement.

Three of the bodies had the letter "Z" carved on their abdomens — a possible reference to the Zeta drug gang, though officials did not make an explicit connection to cartel violence that has plagued many parts of Mexico.

Police have yet to determine a motive, but the area is known to be plagued by drug trafficking.

Oil Spill Is Worse Than We Thought

"Scientists are finding enormous oil plumes in the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico, including one as large as 10 miles long, 3 miles wide and 300 feet thick in spots. The discovery is fresh evidence that the leak from the broken undersea well could be substantially worse than estimates that the government and BP have given."

Damn, it seems every week something more detrimental is happening to our planet!
