Golden Swamp Warbler

Puff Puff
I actually had the pleasure of hearing Ann Craven speak. She is very passionate about her art, and even replicates EVERYTHING! She is pretty cooky too, but it was very interesting to hear her thoughts on art and inspirations. Cool stuff too!

I actually just attending a lecture by her tonight. Very insightful, especially as to where she gets inspiration and ideas.
She attended Brown University and Columbia University as a graduate to obtain an MFA.

City Society "Narration Of Death From Outside Perspective"

This is only part of my project that I'm working on for Visual Thinking. We have to create something that deals with the concept of time. I forget the details but this is one of 3 parts that are involved in the project.
The music is meant to symbolize a chase scene or the craziness that leads up to a death. Then the long interlude of repeating electronic synths symbolize the grieving period, or moments after someone's death. We lose concept of time and it can sometimes feel like a "loop", or continuous re-hash of everyday life where nothing seems to matter. After that comes the sample of "Breathe" by Telepopmusik. It begins with "just breathe" and ends with "another day", creating the idea of new beginnings or it gets better.
Like I said this is just a portion, the final project will be a video that involves painting.
But, let me know what you think, or if you want a download link leave a comment!
