City Society "Narration Of Death From Outside Perspective"

This is only part of my project that I'm working on for Visual Thinking. We have to create something that deals with the concept of time. I forget the details but this is one of 3 parts that are involved in the project.

The music is meant to symbolize a chase scene or the craziness that leads up to a death. Then the long interlude of repeating electronic synths symbolize the grieving period, or moments after someone's death. We lose concept of time and it can sometimes feel like a "loop", or continuous re-hash of everyday life where nothing seems to matter. After that comes the sample of "Breathe" by Telepopmusik. It begins with "just breathe" and ends with "another day", creating the idea of new beginnings or it gets better.

Like I said this is just a portion, the final project will be a video that involves painting.

Taking A Break From Blogging

My life has become very hectic in the past few weeks with school, work, and other activities. So I'm taking a break from blogging.

For My NJ Residents: The Scream Machine Is No More

Chances are if you've lived in New Jersey or the surrounding states you've been to Six Flags Great Adventure and have ridden The American Scream Machine. Then you know how that roller coaster was one of the oldest and most uncomfortable!

Now Six Flags has begun tearing it down, and in place will build a better coaster.

It will be weird going to that park and not seeing it though, I grew up with that coaster. Ha

Give It A Go: Ina Garten's Engagement Roast Chicken

I myself like to eat, so it's only natural that I cook a lot.

I decided to give this Engagement Roast Chicken a go, and it came out great. Then the sauce made after was banginggg. One of the best sauces I've ever had. The onions and lemon mixed with the chicken juices and seasoning was perfect. Also, I had no clue lemons, including their rinds, were edible when cooked. They were a little tart but still tasted pretty good. Give this a go, it's easy and doesn't take too long.
